I might take this out for a spin tomorrow, what do you all think?

The paint is Rustoleum "sunshine yellow', pretty close to Mopar yellow. Its a tribute car, has the RR hood ( its a 73 version), non roll down quarter windows, and Rally wheels. Daisy's car had Magnum 500's. Car is not perfect ( none of Dukes of Hazard cars were), but zero rust and very little fill. It gets stripe package and headliner this week. It registered and ready to roll. Epic save nearing the finish line. I'd love to rock this at a "Duke fest"

Looks great! Glad that it is getting the 73/74 body stripe over the vinyl.

Good job making those parts into a car again! Good choice on colors too.

Great story and project! Too bad your instigator did not stay for the ending.

Well no real mystery, she was going to school and finished up her certification. That meant moving to a city for work and renting an apartment. So no time for projects or places to park them, you know...life stuff. She did lots of work on the project early on and was the inspiration. Tomorrow is the big unveiling and hopefully the video. Its done!

You tell her we'll miss her and stop in once in a while just to let us know how she's doing.

Hopefully you'll stick around to share your projects.

The drive and dedication in that project along with the don't give up attitude with those involved is commendable and refreshing.

So I thought I'd share an update, Ari has moved on with life so we finished up the build. We are going for a Daisy Duke tribute. Its running and driving great!

Fantastic!

Decided on the hubcap delete look, it drives great and gets looks. Not a perfect car by any means but more than worthy for a "spin" and a good time. I'll see if I can get her behind the wheel when she has time

perfect cars rarely get enjoyed. Looks beautiful. Looks like Uncle Jessie took Daisey'r car for a spin. Well done!
