1968 Sport Satellite

The coat hook looks like the one in my 67 hdtp. Could an early 68 build thing.

My 67 Satellite hdtp has fender mounted turn signals and the dash indicators work as well, but I have seen others mention missing bulbs and taped over holes in the cluster. Maybe a cost savings on lower priced models?

My turn signals work in the instrument panel as well as on fenders

Speaking of turn signals, the ones on the dash don’t light up and I checked under the dash to find that tape is placed over the bulb holes. Is this normal with fender mounted turn signals?
My 66 HP2 had the dash lights gone and taped over from factory. I fixed that when I was in there... lol

my GTX has the holes taped......also a third hole; just looked at it the other day

the tape obviously keep a bulb from being installed, but also keeps any light from shining through

it's cloth electrical tape

Could the taped holes have been a thing limited to early '68 models? My cars with operational instrument panel indicators, as well as fender mounted signals, were all built after April '68.

Very possible, Ma Mopar did strange things as we all know.

the third hole seems to go nowhere.......
like the circuit board is also used in another application; it would be above the right t/s indicator, directly opposite the high beam light

My 66 also had taped up turn signal lights.
