Good Morning to All. When I attached my battery cables the parking lights went on without the k on being pulled out at all. Someone said that I need a new switch. How do I take the old switch off.
So far I have the dash down so I can get in the back.seems easy to get to if I knew what to do next.
Anyone out there that can help with this?

Should be a little 3/16”(?)spring loaded button close to sheet metal on the switch. Pull knob partway out, push button & pull knob the rest of way out. Then the bezel nut will come off.

I sort of doubt it’s the switch itself causing this. Did this just suddenly occur - no recent work was done on the car?

Ok all so I figured it out. I still have the steering column laying down so I can pull back the dash to fix any issues that arise behind it. It wasn’t allowing the brake pedal to come all the way up which was why the brake lights were still on. However, I seem to have another issue when I tried to put on the Flashers. I hear the clicking in the dash and the Altenator needle is jumping to the beat of the clicking, but no lights are flashing.
