Need Dash to Windshield Measurment

I am Building this car from the Ground up and it is a Pro Street Throw back.
I need the Distance from the Point of the dash ( right behind the Pad ) To The Windshield .
Mounting a Tach and may not have the Rood ?

That's a Hope'n'Pray program... can you find a windshield to borrow and lay it on to test.

Lay it on there? That's a hope and pray method without a gasket. tThe gasket holds glass in place off the metal frame. how will you know where the glass should really be?

Then install the glass with a gasket if you have poor judgement.
Even a piece of cardboard is better than the floating measurement guesstimate.

You won't have room ... insstall it on the bottom side of the dash. I front of where the factory tach or clock would go is a good place.

66 Coronet, dedicated 1/4 mile car, not using the OEM gauge cluster, had to fab the mount bracket and it's a tight fit, but it works well. Don't know if this will help?
