Saturday Night Special (66 Belvedere Base)

Agree.

IMO (just IMO) 68 dog dishes would be more appropriate.
Those are the closest to the correct year that work on those 9" center nub pattern wheels.

I agree, these are the 68 hubcaps on my old cuda, which the new owner painted black..

My Bevedere II has the same wheel and hubcap combo currently. I have the proper wheels and hubcaps to go on it, just no reason to do it when the tires are like new that are on it and they're 15".
Really like your car and live the black with those side moldings. These cars have really grown on me. Congrats, you are doing excellent work.
THANKS!

I'm really enjoying the process. It's a FAR CRY from what I got originally, though it doesn't look like it. I had actually considered changing the wheels/caps, since the diplomat wheels were on it. But I like them a lot and the fitment is perfect. Every time I knock out a list, the list keep growing!

Spent the last couple months buying and selling houses and getting moved. the shop is a little smaller, but there is an attached garage where the important stuff fits.

Ticking more off the list; got ahold of the correct Day/Night rearview mirror and installed with some old sun visors I bought on here MONTHS ago. Got the Reverse lights working, repaired the dome lights, fixed the Horn and temp sending unit and fuel gauge. Very stoked on the rearview mirror, as I bought 3 that were incorrect through the years... saying it out loud seems silly. But I got this car in SAD shape and it's becoming nicer/better all the while. Now im looking for a parts car that I can rob stuff off of and make parts I already have NICER.

Photo of the headliner + Visors + mirror, and here's one of me we did for a work/promo thing.

This forums so helpful! Couldn't do it without y'all!

Cars looking great, they ARE a work of love. I’ll agree, the folks on here are very helpful, I will be on here more in the future!

Painted the recess of the trim, cleaned the old dirt and paint off the steering box and installed the glove box liner this weekend; then ran some errands.

The entire piece is anodized; so I couldn't strip and polish. The center line is a grayish color, but the two deep parts I painted black.
