Did a bit of cleanup on my Coronet...

That looks like a win alright, pretty decent.

How much does this engine worth.

Even being a 440, the best he will get for that setup is zero. It will cost more to offload the motorhome carcass than what the engine and trans are worth. The 727 should be a good one though and is probably more desirable than the cast crank 440.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

1982. This is my 750 I did 2 years ago. I like bikes and you don't get burnt out on them like we do on cars.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

The last few years I've restored a few bikes rather than the knock down-drag out $$$$ Mopar restorations. I bought this less than two months ago and test rode it today.

    NOT MINE - 1966 Charger Hemi Car - 5K - No Motor/Trans

You're the guy! Me, I'd do a day 2 with headers, marine intake and Holleys. Finding the right carbs, manifolds and such would push the price up too high. I hope it goes to a good home. The buy-in makes the car doable I think and parts cars if needed are available.

    NOT MINE - 1966 Charger Hemi Car - 5K - No Motor/Trans

Dang: I'd love to do that one. It couldn't be further away though. The first gens are cool, unique cars.

1971 Dodge Charger RT (Not Mine)

I can't get it to load up. That looks like a really nice combination though. What was the asking?

    Seriously, Jegs?

Hilarious actually. Hopefully if we ditch them there will be space for an upstart company to take their place. Good companies get sold and die, new ones start up.

    Spring Fling Van Nuys rant

Obviously he hasn't "done a thousand of these things". Sounds like the guy needs his own Youtube channel.

This is Further Proof That The Dumbing Down Is Rampent...

I call it the big mommy complex. All these people figure that "someone" will look out for them and that "someone" is to blame for anything bad that happens to them. When I was a kid we climbed trees fully knowing that if we fell it was going to hurt. We were streetwise too and walked down any...

Selling Tips Needed - Test Drive or Not?

Take them for a drive. Tons of idiots out there and sometimes they don't look or act like idiots at first.

    So....Speedmaster is a thief and a fraud...

Consumers are the problem, take away the market and the junk will disappear. Why anyone needs Chinese are Taiwan parts on their American muscle is beyond me. On my last two Challengers I threw more repro junk in the garbage can than I care to remember. I just want refurbished original parts on...

Somebody talk me out of this - railcar speeder/motorcars!

They were built in different size from a small one for a single patrolman to operate up to larger ones that would transport a small crew. We had a club rent time on our railway once and they probably had 30 or 40 speeders. It cost lots as they had to pay for a "pilot" who was one of our guys...

Can You Afford To Live in Mexico? (video)

We spend a few months there every year but yes, they are pricing themselves out of the tourist market. If meals and lodging are going to cost as much as say Australia, well then I'll spend a few bucks extra on airfare and go to Australia. Mexican service used to be great, not any more. I also...

Curious for Opinions Here - What Percentage of Project Cars Actually Get Completed?

I've never abandoned a project car and I always give myself one year max to complete them. Nothing pains me more than seeing a Mopar get ripped apart and then sit for 10 or 20 years while parts get lost and damaged. My last 2 Challengers came to me as incomplete projects, one by the original...

    E Body Challenger info

The grille isn't that bad. If I had one I would try blacking it all out though, I have never seen that done. The 2-3-4 cars still bring less money, I don't have a clear figure though. They rust everywhere, lower quarters first, trunk floor and drop offs second, then the outer wheelhouses...

    Explain this unfairness.

It just doesn't matter. Chevelles are okay cars but give me a choice between an LS6 Chevelle or a Hemi Charger and it's an easy one to make.
