Gas Gauge Works - Intermittingly - '63 Plymouth

Make sure the clip is there and it has a good connection. They can rust and loose ground or even rust in half. It's what bridges across the rubber hose. Some folks will make a ground wire from the sending unit to a good ground.

11 PSI fuel pressure at the carb

Edelbrock was having Carter specially make their pumps to Edelbrock's specks. (Lighter spring). You kind of know how that works out all the time with the over seas manufacturing.

11 PSI fuel pressure at the carb

IIRC there's been heavier float needles that will withstand a little more pressure but not a lot. My two 600s were doing okay for awhile with 8 lbs. 11 PSI fuel pressure at the carb

Lots of the carter/edelbrock mechanical pumps are coming through with too heavy of a spring creating too much pressure. Even the ones that supposed to be less pressure.

1979 Dodge Magnum 360-727 torqueflite squeaking in R,D,2,1

I had a brother in law that was hearing a high pitch squealing on his Ford pickup that nobody else could hear. It was driving him crazy. He pinpointed it to the pvc valve. He replaced it with a new one. Noise was gone. Couldn't prove it by me but he was happy.
