Hey all, just purchased a 73 Roadrunner a few weeks back and will be checking the boards for all sorts of help, as I’m new to classic mopars. Had a few fords prior and needed a change. Already got some new ignition parts coming for the 340 who needs a tune up and some exhaust work next week due to some blown out mufflers.

Thanks
Bob

Welcome from NY.
Looks very nice.

As far as ignition parts I wouldn't recommend changing any of the following:
Ignition module, ballast, distributor pickup or reluctor.
Aftermarket stuff these days is not very good and original parts of this type typically last for decades.

Cap, rotor, wires and plugs perhaps they are more a maintenance item.

Howdy neighbor! That's a great looking '73. Just east of Peoria here . . .
