I've got a virtually new 850 dp holley that is so glued together by those damned brown gaskets, I literally can get it apart to clean/rebuild it. No place to pry on the bowls, and a dead low hammer won't even knock them off. Can't get the main body separated from the throttle plate either!
It might be worthwhile just checking the steel floor-pan under the dipswitch to see if any of the cables are shorting to ground at the floor.
Not likely, but I have seen that happen.
Also make sure that all your bulkhead connectors are clean and tight, as well as firmly 'home'.
I sincerely hope your bouts
with this dreadful malady
aren't anywhere near as
painful as mine. I'm usually
stuck on the couch for three
days, completely immobil.
Hope you recover soon.
Anyone remember back in the day as a kid… if you put the 4 ways on, and put the turn signal lever in either position… the accessories will function with the flash. The radio, wipers, blower. Some kind of a feedback thing I guess. This is without keys.
That’s an amazing color and fits the charger so well, shows all the lines….but ruined by dork dishes. Someone needs to rescue it and put magnum 500s or cragars on it
Degas is very different from an overflow... Coolant actively flows through the degas tank and it's pressurized... Overflow/recovery tank is outside the normal coolant path and lives at atmospheric pressure...
They looked closer to this…
And the ‘69 will make a great compliment to that ‘70, no doubt man.
I’ll get that package out to you in the next couple of days.
Great couple of games you guys!!!
KYBs are the worst.
If you have stock torsion bars and leaf springs, they are okay but still stiff. If you step up to larger torsion bars and leafs, they feel terrible.
They are a LOT cheaper because they are inferior.
