I was unsure as the NOS distributor i purchased as you can see it has no pickup but has the plate so hence why i asked if this is the correct pickup. i think someone has taken the pickup off. so thank you for the answer good to know that pickup will work
Agree with all above i just went through this with mine i didn't replace the voltage regulator when i done my dash and boy i should have as it's not easy once the dash is in replace replace replace with a solid state unit my 2 cents

Well good news the new guy came today and vacuumed out the system tested for leaks all good and the system took gas with no issues so don't know what the issue with the other guy but he didn't seem to understand the system very well the new guy was very comfortable and knowledgeable on these...
Turquoise & change that neck unless your looking for trouble + throw in a new thermostat but make sure you test the thermostat prior to assembly just had issues with a new non opening thermostat
Agree about the low gas excuses I've now found an old school A/C guy who seems to know what he's talking about he's coming on Monday to do his thing hopefully he's the guy for the job the first guy didn't seem to understand the old RV2 systems fingers crossed this guy does .
The compressor was still turning no noises no issues the whole system has been rebuild including compressor it's a factory oem system but upgraded to suit the newer R134 gas .I won't get that issue of overcharging at this stage as it won't go in but as stated it may have been an empty recharge...
I'm hoping so that would be a good out come as everything else seems to take the long road, fingers crossed.Also i found interesting is that the compressor was turning over at a very low gas level is this normal as i know the newer system will shut down the compressor when low on gas

I had one of these ctek battery chargers for years works perfectly they have a heat prob which you sit on top of the battery while charging which turns the charger off if it pick up any over heating on the battery while charging Battery chargers 12V & 24V from CTEK

The claim was put in as soon as i received it and the seller was happy to take back the coil as that was the only damage i could see but as long as i paid the shipping of $100 if you read the post & they have not refused to take back the module either but i don't think i should pay $200...
