    This thread seems to indicate that it was possible, but I thought 915’s were only available in 67: Help With Fender Tag Decoding But others in the thread said 915’s in 67 only. Wasn’t sure.

    Interesting you should say that; the car was purchased new by a man originally from Lawrence County Kentucky. He bought the car in Portsmouth, OH (on the KY state border). And, to bring the story full circle…. 55 years later, the car has returned to KY, since I live in Louisville.
