Hello lads and gals,
Last year I built a 512' motor for my '67 Satellite. A few days after starting it up and making sure it wouldn't blow up, I had to take an overseas assignment at work.
I put the car into storage but I am curious if there is anything I should be cautious about/be doing to...
Wow car looks a lot better than I was expecting. I haven’t been this excited since I bought my Satellite! Now to look into a shipper from VT to CT… will keep y’all updated
I was curious if anyone in the VT, NH region could check out a car.
A ‘61 Imperial. Not a B body I know but a fellow Mopar eh?
It’s located in Maidstone, VT. About 40 minutes from the Canadian border and about 25 minutes from Colebrook, NH.
I want to ship the car home to Connecticut but I’m...
Unfortunately I can't seem to find any. The FSM appears to only show info for the blackout paint on the hood.
Another option you can do is find some forum members/friends who have UNRESTORED or a concurs 69 GTX, and ask/take precise measurements. I personally would take distance measurements at...
I certainly wouldn't want to mess that up either. In that case, whoever you go with I'd provide them factory manual schematics for trim location, height, placement etc. Just to make sure there's no miscommunication. I'm sure there many capable shops in N.E. especially in New Hampshire/MA. Just...
Bundy Motors in Tolland, CT. They are not Mopar (mostly Fords and Italian) but they do Concours restorations and almost all of their stuff goes down to BJ, Mecum or MCACN. I'd trust them with my eyes closed. Pricey but I'm not sure how good of a job you're looking for.
Innovative Restorations...
I have a 26” ColdCase radiator and am ordering a OER/MP shroud.

Will update if it is plug and play.
I think the main problem is when people use Flex-A-Lite fans that are NOT rated or even advertised for high horsepower cars. On the labeling and on their websites it even says not to use on cars with more than 2XXHP or above a certain RPM range. They’re for small motored appliances.
I’d...
After seeing a flex fan tear a whole straight through a hood at the drag strip and hearing dozens of stories of flex fans come apart - itll make you rethink.
How many miles on the trans? Sounds like very little.
Drop the pan, check and replace the filter and fluid. Do a quick band adjustment and drive it till it explodes. No reason to fix what aint broke.
Doug - is the longer amount of time that the car is held at flash stall meaningful? In a heads up shootout, would it make much of a difference? If any?
Additionally what happens if the gears are changed out for deeper gears instead of lesser. Currently my car has 4.10 gears with a 28" tire...
Don’t have the Tricflow intake but use Trick flow 240 heads, the recommended Harland Sharpe rockers and a M1 performance intake. As someone said there’s no way you’re fitting it under a stock hood. I run a 3” Six Pack hood and need to use a dropbase air cleaner.
Couldn’t tell you exact numbers...
Coldcase radiator PN : MOP750A.
accidentally ordered a small block w/ automatic transmission radiator so I have no need for it. Paid $400 for it back in May. Works on 66-74 A, B, C, E bodies.
Has never had a drop of fluid in it.
I’ll sell for $250 and whatever shipping is.
