    Anyone know? 70 RT - VIN XS29U0G148125

This episode of Graveyard Cars goes into some really good details about chargers. It is about verifying a 69 hemi charger. He uses a sales rep book that lists options and what things come standard with the R/T package. At the least it is entertaining for Charger fans. I believe he said that the...

    Anyone know? 70 RT - VIN XS29U0G148125

Graveyard Cars had a recent episode on reading codes and serial number locations for a charger. You may want to search it on youtube. It was very good info. I believe they mention power brakes standard on R/T? If it's big bucks I would want verification of the numbers on the radiator support...

FJ5 Lime Light Paint Source & Tips

I know this is an old post. I am in the planning stages to paint a 70 Dart FJ5 Sublime car and like the Sikkens Akzo Nobel Paint. Would you happen to know the paint number? This car must be finished by now? Very nice. You said you painted sections at a time? Is that something that works with...

GPG Devilbiss PR10 or PR30 for Slick Sand?

Thanks. I have used SPI primer and liked it. They have a high build prime but I’m not sure how it compares to Slick Sand. Quite a few shops do use Slick Sand however it does make sense to stay with the same brand.

GPG Devilbiss PR10 or PR30 for Slick Sand?

I am looking into a spray gun to spray Evercoat Slick Sand. So far what I see is that a 2.5 tip is suggested because of the thick material to spray. I can't seem to get anyone on the phone from Devilbiss for help but I have heard that the GPG gun is good for this? I looked on the website and...

    Air/Fuel Ratio Meter?

A few years back I brought an engine to an engine shop that was going to assemble and put it on a dyno. The builder said he couldn't finish the job and left me with finishing the assembly but now I didn't get to put the engine on the dyno. My engine is installed and I am working out some...

1969 superbee 383 rough idle and low vacuum

A lot of good things suggested. Before removing parts I would disconnect all vacuum lines one at time and plug them to see if anything changes. Plug them at the carb and intake. You could have a leaking hose that is not visible. Something that major could be the PVC or power brake booster hose...

HELP - Brakes won't bleed AT ALL!

Glad you have some success. I’m wondering if the rear flex line was clogged why you didn’t get brake fluid coming out the front cylinder bleeder screws? Unless the bleeder holes were clogged. I agree change all the lines anyway if you haven’t. It’s cheap investment compared to others. Take...

    Engine problems.

The wrong ballast resistor or wiring can eventually damage your coil. I would say check with the manufacturer of the aftermarket company. I find going to the source is always a good solution. They should have tech support rep. You could end up in the same situation later.
