The cast crank has a damper that is external balanced with
offset weight. The forged crank has a smooth balance without
an offset weight on it. Best way to tell in a complete assemble engine.

I run the Milodon Cover with the rear entry.
I could not use side entry because of clearance.
I have several systems and individual pieces spare i
you need one. I would sell them 1/2 price of new.
I too had issues with the 440 source part with erratic
oil pressure.
IF = This is a brand new rebuild I would be
very concerned about the rings sealing.
I NEVER let my engines run over 140 during break in
for the first 10 or 15 minutes. Harbor Freight has cheap
temp gauges to point at the radiator.
I had a couple of inquiries less engine.
I would well the car with new Mikes racing transmission/Continential converter
Headers/MSD/All spare parts including 426 engine stuff. Also Positraction rear end intact
and basically car rolling with the American Wheels..
I would keep the long block...
