bought a new one last night. thing is, Ive had nothing but chrysler products from day one. dodge pickups, roadrunners darts dusters and never had an issue, I thought they were all the same and I'm 80 % sure it is the staarter I pulled fromunder the bench was the same one i pulled from the car...

currently the engine is on the run stand(thankfully),was going to run the engine prior to install..
just dogging me for the last couple of months.
all right, this is another "I thought I knew what I thought I knew thing"...are starters, from the muscle car era, big block and small...the same??

does anyone know what and where this brace goes? I'm reassembling my 68 roadrunner and I had thought that it was a bracket/brace for the clutch pedal assembly...to long to fit anywhere there though. could it be a brace for the dash somewhere? to long i think for anything like that too... I'm stumped
I had a set in my roadrunner (69 charger buckets...)that were decent back then but sun baked now 40 years later. not rusty at all if you're still looking....they are the low back with the head rest type.
regardless.....the one mounted on the wiper motor(2-speed)...is it different than the other ballast resistor or the same was the intent of the question...?
are all ballasts equal? for my 68, it has the normal one bolted to the firewall and one on the wiper motor....are they the same??
I noticed the bases are different, the holes are in different locations. is it just the matter of using the right bracket or are these differerent risisters altogether??
