    Mopar better than Chevy

Also, remember that LRE licked 454 Chevy and 460 Ford pickups to the curb as well.

    Mopar better than Chevy

Sort of but that lil 360 in a pickup truck outran what GM and Ford put in their cars in the same manufacturing years. I mean it pushed a barn door pickup truck faster than a same year Corvette for gosh sakes.

    1969 Road Runner preservation

What a great car this is. You've done so well on it. Lots of work and doing the right things. Congrats!

    Rich kid cars.

FK5 Six bbl, 70 GTX is the one that stands out for me. Father owned a sawmill. Oh yeah and another one; 66 Coronet 500, Hemi 4 speed GG1. His father either owned a sawmill or a logging company. Back in those days lots of guys worked hard in the bush and could come to town in the spring and pay...

    Found Me a 1969 RR

Nice to deal with yet another dishonest POS on Ebay.

    Mopar better than Chevy

The deal is other than the Hemi and the Crossrammers Chrysler built street engines. In that application the Chrysler engines were superior no question about it. Dry intakes, external oil pumps, no rocker studs to pull out, better geometry. They weren't building race engines, when they did they...

That Steve Lisk 71 Challenger R/T was a darn nice car to start with!

Loan contract for my A12 1969

That was an expensive car payment back then. Anything over $100 per month over 3 years was considered outrageous.

Way better than you would have thought. Rare find these days.

Decline of Car Culture in America (video)

It seems the big guys have been trying to take our hobby since around 1970. To be honest I think part of it is when some gloomy people with no life see someone else enjoying themselves and having fun they become jealous and come of with ideas to take what makes you happy away. That is part of it...

    Picked this up today

Not a fan of the SE window either. This was a U-code, 4 speed R/T-SE. I powered it up but it was a neat car stock.

    Picked this up today

Good score. For some reason I find the U-code e-bodies more interesting than the V-codes. Maybe because they're more obscure.

A couple big decisions on my road runner restoration - help me decide.

Yes and yes. I loved the FC7/white combo on my Cuda. I think if it had been black I would have changed it to white as well.

"Secret Photos" of the 68 Petty Road Runner at the Daytona 500

    Changing Hurst Pistol grip shifter

To be honest I have put my hand over top the pistol grip, it is more comfrtable. Nothing beats the looks though. Yes the 69 Hurst console lever will work.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

The BBK's were only on for 60,000KM, the welds cracked on the left manifold back and second from back. No broken studs thankfully. The new BD diesel manifolds were a work of art, twice as heavy as the factory stuff and with collars for the studs so the manifolds can heat and shrink back and...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Round 4 on exhaust leaks on the Cram. Put B&D manifolds in to replace the leaky BBK headers which replaced the cracked stockers. I will NEVER swap one of these POS into an old car, never.

1st win of the year at the NHRA nostalgia nationals in Bowling Green.

Funny how having a few problems and finding the root of them adds up to success down the road. Well earned.

Original pictures of my hemi roadrunner drag car

Injectors were a bit more serious than what I envisioned when you first said race car. I was thinking a set of headers and a hotter cam maybe. Ha!
