Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know I’ll be heading through Tucson tomorrow hopefully mid morning headed towards San Diego. I have a U-Haul 10 foot box truck that’s pretty much empty if anyone has anything they need taken to San Diego. A small donation would be appreciated.
Getting lots of stuff back on the car. I tagged and bagged most things pretty well but I’m coming across a couple pieces I can’t find in any of my photo library and they’re not tagged. I have two of my heater hose holders in the car already. Wondering where this goes or if it was just extra.
My son just came up to me and asked me to look at his latest project. He hooked up the speed control from one of his remote control cars to a motor and then made it so that a hot wheels car could sit on top. He pulls the throttle the engine spins which causes the back wheels to spin. I know this...
I’ve gone to every Lowe’s, Home Depot and hardware store around my house and every single one of them is completely sold out of all types of spray glue. Am I missing something? Is there a hot commodity for spray glue right now?
Went out to pick up my TTI exhaust from Bob Mazolini racing. On the phone he asked me to come check out the shop so I did. Sneaky guy. He sold me on a few other parts I needed.
I know this isn’t a truck site however, I am excited to share a new addition with everyone. I’ve been looking at trucks for a while mainly to have some thing functional to haul and tow things. After looking a lot I found a 1966D 200 318 poly, four speed on the floor. Went to look at it this...
As I’m getting closer to the end of my resto tunnel I am thinking of a custom license plate. Since I’ve done 99% of the work myself I thought about this for a plate, DIY 69B. Thoughts?
I replaced the driver side floor pan when I was doing my restoration. Just getting to the point where I need to put in the accelerator pedal. I am realizing there are no holes drilled for it. The pedal base itself is not flat. it has a Divet pushed down where the two bolts come out. There’s no...
I ran out of my other light weight body filler that was supposed to be pretty good. It worked well but was a little difficult to apply and sand. It always tacked up my sandpaper on the first approach. I went to O’Reilly’s and decided to try this one. I can’t Believe the difference. The most...
Hey everyone, I wasn’t exactly sure where to post this. I did put a post on trucks only website. I’m basically going to be looking at this what I think is a 76-77 . He’s asking $2000. Everything looks solid. Little bit of rust on the lower front and back of each door. Looks like the hump has...
It’s a nice feeling when one of your kids starts to get a little older, 11, and you see in him a chip off the old block. My 11-year-old boy has always been very creative, mechanically inclined, always inventing things and taking things apart. In the last year or so he has also shown a great work...
I recently purchased a jack for my For my 69 Coronet from FU64RY. It was a great experience. It was packaged really well and arrived in perfect condition.
Picked up a bunch more stuff today. Got a few things I’ll be posting for sale later. I found this trim that says commando V-8 but I can’t figure out what cards for. It will be available for sale as well. Also found a complete set of stainless steel rain gutter trim for a 1963 valiant. Also found...
Went to a large estate sale today on a large property. There was an old shed with lots of tools and auto supplies. A whole shelf full of these repair manuals. Luckily enough they still had the 69. Tons of pages of information.
I know they’re out there. There’s a 69 sitting in my garage getting restored. However, of all the shows I’ve been to and all the car shows members here post on the site you rarely if ever see a super bee. Are they that rare? I’m excited to get mine done and bee the only bee at the show.
This is how my kids pull each other in a wagon these days!! And the 3 1/2-year-old in the back of the wagon is pointing his Nerf gun at you with the look on his face like, what are you looking at.
Sent off my old fender tag information to Brett at AG BACKEAST. He did an amazing job. Highly recommended if you need a new fender tag due to a damaged or missing one like I had.
