Thanks for the report. I have talked to another guy who used CME and he said they were great. Said he had them build him a 440 with the optional Six Pack set up and it ran great. He said he went to pick the engine up personally. While there CME gave him a guided tour of the facilities and were...

...superior product. I actually got to meet up with KnoGood (Patrick) this weekend which was the member I originally spoke with when debating my CME Motor and recommended he just swap the cork for the blue Moroso's as a pre-emptive measure. As far as CME goes if you read through the thread...

    Finally ordered new crate motor!

I went with CME because of their reputation after much research, I have a six barrel in my road runner now and love it so it was an easy decision to go with the 6 barrel. Plus it looks great.

    Finally ordered new crate motor!

Well, I ended up going to a local shop and have my existing 440 rebuilt and am using my existing 6 barrel set up, he matched the cme estimate but with a roller cam kit and roller rockers. I called MRL twice with no answer and was concerned about someone answering the phone if I had a problem.

    Finally ordered new crate motor!

I have a hard time understanding why people on the east coast don't contact the site sponsor MRL and say, "Hey Mike, this is my budget, what can you do for me?" You think you're gonna get something better from CME? I've see Mike's stuff and I've seen crate engines.
