    Center dash speaker mounting.

4 speakers is enough for a stereo system, I am assuming 8 track players were stereo output? Does the radio have enough output wattage to carry that many speakers? Mike

    Does anyone make scoop screens?

I hit a turkey with my company truck and broke the plastic grill. I was passing a slower vehicle when it happened and had no room to maneuver. All I could see in my mirrors was feathers! Mike

1965 Coronet V8 Engine mount Conversion

News to me, the swap leaves very little tunnel room and necessitates transmission mount relocation and drive shaft shortening. Not that I didn't mount my engine as far back as I could! Mike

    Doug's vs TTI headers

TTI fit is no better. Look at my system and I already bent the left side towards the cross member cut out. Mike

Why would you want a screen? Are you using a air filter? Mike

    Repairing Pitted Steel Rims.

A couple of years ago I filled out a lot of rust pits on a pair of Ford 9' axle shafts, right where the seal contacts. I used JB Weld original formula and sanded them with a piece of emery cloth. No leaks have occurred to date. Mike

    Adding after market air-conditioning to a 1971 road runner/GTX

That control setup would look better if you placed a rounded end plate under the VA control to cover the original opening. Mike

Distributor-stay with points or go electronic?

I did lots of tuneups 40-50 years ago. It was a good income task that was needed every 12,000 or so miles, as was repacking wheel bearings. I worked next to silver-tongued mechanic that had his customers coming in fairly often for u-joint repacks! Mike

wiper switch and plug 1965 Belvedere

Yes, that switch does not belong in a 65 Belvedere, at least with a variable speed motor. I purchased a NOS from a vendor-don't recall which one though. Mike

    Baffled again….window crank handle gap

Perhaps a cut and reweld on that spindle. Probably complete disassembly of regulator will be required. If, in fact it is a 67 model. Mike
