I have a Glasstek fiberglass trunk lid on this car. I need another deck lid and was thinking of that AMD unit. Everything will require some amount of work for excellent fit.
Same rear gear as mine. Same GVOD. I run the 275/60-15 as I think the additional sidewall height is an advantage on the track. I’m on an 8” wheel but a 10” wide would be ideal.
This doesn’t need that much tire nor would those fit without significant mods. The 315 is a 30” tire and the 275 is a shorter 28” which, in this case, will work better with the gear in this car.
Reviving this old thread in hopes that someone can post a picture of, and tell me the size of the screw that holds the amber lens in the front side marker light housing for the 70 Coronet. I solved the retainer issue by making my own but I still need the screw info.

It’s a street car and with good to medium prep, you could put it on a radial and drive to the track. I ran a 1.30 60’ 5.50 1/8 mile at 4000# on the ET Street SS MT-3453 tire. After running radials at 160mph, I’ll never go back to a floppy tire.

In between all of the family gatherings and snow shoveling, I managed to get a wiper motor adapter plate made. Maybe I’ll manage to get it painted and on for good yet this week.
