As long as the initial conversion was done with all new components I can't believe it would corrode as you say? If any DOT 3 was left in the system that may have drawn in the moisture.

I'm attempting to scrap a junk 1982 Chrysler air pump. I got the back cover off and the drive pulley. Can anyone tell me how the center assembly can be removed? Thanks.

This appears to be a question so, the difficult problem will be obtaining the seats and console. If you are not restoring, these pieces have many options.

Engines have rear main seals. Are you referring to the extension housing seal, at the rear of the transmission, where the drive shaft front yoke enters the extension housing?
If so, it is a easy job. Do you have mechanical experience in auto repair?

I did install one but, I only have 24 miles on the car so, no testing has been performed yet. And now it's in upholstery prison. I miss it already:(.

When I installed discs on my 65 Belvedere 8 3/4, I purchased a kit from Dr. Diff and he included adapter cables to hook to the factory main cable. If you can decern the supplier, life may treat you right.

Wire it to something else on the engine or maybe a rubber tarp strap to hold it still?
