    As long as the initial conversion was done with all new components I can't believe it would corrode as you say? If any DOT 3 was left in the system that may have drawn in the moisture. Mike

    Engines have rear main seals. Are you referring to the extension housing seal, at the rear of the transmission, where the drive shaft front yoke enters the extension housing? If so, it is a easy job. Do you have mechanical experience in auto repair? Mike

    When I installed discs on my 65 Belvedere 8 3/4, I purchased a kit from Dr. Diff and he included adapter cables to hook to the factory main cable. If you can decern the supplier, life may treat you right. Mike
