I googled oversized o-ring assortments google indicates that they are available. But i can't find any on line. Does anybody know for sure if they are available?
I had installed a heater core that leaked using the supplied o- rings and had to re-use the old ones. The ones supplied measured 3 thousandths too small and leaked. Another time, on my dakota the a/c line leaked and had to measure about 50 o-rings from different assortments to find one that was a bit thicker to seal. I never had this problem in the past. It would be nice to have a oversized set of o-rings if they exist?

maybe try ?

Pro Tip - O’Reilly has a HUGE red box full of o-rings behind the counter. Ask a manager or assistant manager. They’ll know about it

O-rings! Just a smidge big, they won’t work, and just a tad small…they won’t work. One size fits one. Good you're using a precise measuring instrument. There's one out there just for you...a little humor as I know how maddening this can be.

Yea, i know . Going to the next size doesn't fit. But i have experienced o-rings that are few thousandths too small. Which = frustration!
I suspect poor quality o-rings from china.
I have about 8 assortments of the damn things. Plus green ones for a/c systems.
I was hopeful to purchase some that are oversized. Or maybe i should search high quality made in the usa o-rings .LOL!

Measure carefully what you need. You can order specific sizes. McMaster-Carr

Try a hydraulic hose shop like a Parker store or a farm implement dealer if you can't get the factory ones. When I worked we did a lot of hydraulic work. We had 4 to 6 different boxes of o-ring assortments. The ones in the red box were almost never used because they never fit or held up. If nothing close you can use what Toolmanmike said.
