Modified exhaust absolutely get a ticket IF the cop wants to pull you over or if they get complaints. I had someone complain about my open header 426 hemi a couple of weeks ago. Under body Neon/LED definitely in some states/cities, banned in CA when I lived there and another reason to get pulled...
72 charger, digitail LED rallye tail lights, everything was working fine, now turn signals only work when parking light /headlights are off, turn on parking or headlights, lose all signal to the back of the car !
turn signal switch ?? i checked all connections, fuses, etc..
i changed the...
Haven’t seen your postings. Those look good and that’s an awesome idea for the 4 low lights. I’ve been running Octane before they came out with the Holley and they dropped right in my buckets. I know with Octane the Amps are still so low you don’t need the relay upgrade. Everything in my car is...
For me stock parking light bulbs and LED taillights, the stock flasher worked.
LED parking lights and LED taillights required an electronic flasher. I used a neutral polarity flasher, grounded to the ashtray frame, so I didn’t have to mess with the factory plug.
My stock hazard flasher still...
With the advancement in lighting technology, and receding in driver intelligence lately, I’ve decided I wanted to switch all the lights to led. I did it in my Datsun, because I was sitting at a red light when it was a little foggy out and almost had to change underpants watching a car that...
...kit is strongly recommended if you have standard sealed beam headlights but considering the drastic reduction in current needed to power LEDlights, I don't see why the relays would be necessary.
I had sealed beams for years but changed over to Hella H1 and H4 headlights.
The H1 are a...

I put the Holley RetroBright headlights on my daily driver 69 Corvette. Yes, I think they are stupid expensive for a headlight bulb, but then again, if they save me from hitting one deer or help me see better and drive safer, then they are worth every dime.
On my Corvette, I only replaced the...
Hi all
Most of the cluster in my 74 Satellite was completely dead when I started it this morning (incl. Temp,Fuel,Oil,Brake indicator). I suspected a cluster regulator but there is barely any voltage (0.015v) at the 12v leg of the regulator socket on the cluster. I have 12v on both sides of the...
Today I installed a new set of LED headlights in my 70 charger R/T, all of the lights fit and worked as they should. The problem is that when I go to shut the lights off when it’s in the low beam setting, the headlight doors won’t close upon shutting off. When the lights are on high beams, the...
Glad that I posted something that is interesting and/or helpful.
What do you mean you cannot find the red and black ones on Tanks? Do you mean the AN fittings? If so you can get them from many places to include Amazon (I would not recommend using those, I use Fragola mostly for AN). To be...
It's a studied, proven, and celebrated fact by the car companies, that LED headlights have a different color lights and are much brighter than incandescents. But some people don't believe in facts anymore.... so it's must be old guys who have (assumed) degraded vision.
:blah:
ok.. cool my reverse and first buttons are working as intended then :) I did all new bulbs also.... I'm planning on LEDs for the tail-lights and front turn signal/running lights, LED's in the dash are just too bright
I got mine from Cars, Trucks, and SUVs - Vehicle Lighting | Super Bright LEDs
Not sure if they are better or worse. I tried red ones in the tail lights and they looked a little more orange than red, so I went back to clear.
There should be 2 flasher units, one for normal turn signals and 1 for the hazards. If you have LED bulbs/lights in the turn circuit you will need either/and an LED flasher unit (for both) and/or a resistor. Just google "LED resistor" and you will see them (gold looking deals with a wire coming...
