The Borgeson box likes more pressure than the OE box. In most cases, zero or 1 shim will remain in the relief valve on a Saginaw pump. The feel is built into the box. Unlike the ancient article of MA showing how to make the OE box harder to turn by changing the relief pressure.

I've heard good things about the borgeson conversion.

I did reach out Borgeson about the larger pulley. They told me I will be fine as the pump was designed to give the right amount of pressure with the larger pulley.

I just put in a Lares 11033 box with a filter. I checked the filter after a road test after installing the box and found the filter was pretty hot. I want to add a cooler, what cooler can I use that will look somewhat stock and is easy to get?

Did you use your original pump? I installed a Borgeson pump which has a pressure of 1350 psi and I think it's too much for the Lares 11033 I put in.

...box and direct acting linkage design is excellent. The weak link is the sloppy steering box. It was designed at a time when the public wanted effortless steering feel. That time was LONG ago. A Firm Feel stage 2 or 3 steering box is better than stock but a Borgeson is another leap forward.

Where can I get this larger flare seat adapter? ...or any detailed info pics on where to grind? When I am out driving it sounds like an egg is frying on my steering wheel.

The Doug's fit great on my 72 charger with the 440 with the exception of steering box clearance. It had the original box and the headers were right on it. I changed the box to a borgeson box and now have ample clearance
