    Whatever is being changed/updated is affecting the photo orientation too. Many of mine are being loaded 90* off their orientation. If I go to "insert image" its correctly orientated but I can't load any more on to my thread.

    Minii starter disaster job.

    The starters alignment is the snout into the bellhousing. That top hole, too large, larger than the bottom bolt hole, is just there to help hold it in place. Seems like you may have a wrong starter.

    Since there's been a discussion on shock length when in droop, I had a look at the lh arm on the Challenger to see how far away it was before hitting the bumper as thats part of the equation. I found that the arm, on the rear tube, was hitting the rail. So...out came the airsaw. I trimmed away...

    I've used the Summit Racing brand mini on many big block and have no problems with them. I don't use the stud either, but 2 bolts easily. I'm thinking also it can't be the correct starter if it doesn't engage. Might be a faulty starter though. I had one from the get go that didn't engage...

    I bought a mini starter from NAPA. I had to remove an outside cover to get the starter, there was another pair of studs underneath as I remember.
