69 Charger front side speaker mounting.

Well got a set of original front speaker grills and screws on fleabay. Seems weird to me. The screws are tight in the dash frame but at the same time have to be tight in the speaker u-clips also? So is it essentially double nutted so to speak? Also looking for the correct orientation of the...

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

In Jan 2002, inspired by the 911 terrorists, an 18yo kid stole a Cessna and few it into the Bank of America building in downtown Tampa. Only the pilot died. I actually saw it just after it hit. Crazy times.

    What’s with the rear spoiler?

Neither is this one, but it has a beer name on the car. Not a bad looking Monza after all of the needed modifications.

    Torque converter recommendation

When changing the converter I guess it’s smart to also install an external tranny cooler since I saw most of them are non-lockup converters. 3500 stall should be good for my engine‘s powerband

Looking to buy a front Coilover kit

I've installed them and driven them. They're expensive, (Over $5K) not much lighter, the bump steer takes a huge spacer to straighten it out. The manual rack steering effort is very high as well. I wouldn't do it. Doug

    Travel Florida mid December 2025

I was going to suggest the aquarium in Atlanta until I remembered the theft rate of modern Challengers and Chargers.
