I will be running 392 Hemi, cam, cai, headers should be solid 525hp without supercharging. My transmission guy suggested A518 has a lower ceiling for durability at that hp. I didn’t want to modify the tunnel, it was on my list of trans options but I didn’t have any experience with them. I have...
Shaggyracer. I think YY1 might be your answer especially from a shipping point of view. I am in Canada and the border is a bigger problem than it use to be. Keep in touch as I have a bunch of 3rd gen parts and I usually do Carlisle in July so that makes things a little easier. Have fun with the...
Hino existed long before Toyota bought into the partnership. The Hino name itself has it's own brand recognition. On their own, Toyota hasn't developed a large truck.
Got the motor up on the engine stand today and started pulling her apart. I'm quite pleased.
Every single bolt came out with no issue, no broke off heads stuck parts ext.
Motor turned over beautifully, and the cylinders all look good with nice crosshatch finish.
Timing chain was a little...
Hooker long tubes. Are you running a fast ratio pitman arm? If so you will need to put it back to stock. Most headers won’t work on a 73/74 with fast ratio on a RB.
The kit has 2 cam plugs, one flat disc and one contoured. There is no need to replace it unless there are signs of leakage. If needed, I prefer using the contoured plug.
Where do your safety rules fall exactly re rollbar , cage , safety clothing etc ?
Here in Oz when I first got to that thinking .
Vehicle was teched sub 11.00 . At this point you needed a minimum 5 pt rollbar that was good to 10.00 . Rollcage below 10.00 . The Satellite was dipping into high...
I have a non-B body project. I am considering using an electroluminescent dash from a '66/'67 Charger. Other than how it looks when lit I know very little about these dashes and am hoping some of you guys could weigh-in on the in's and out's of these units.
I need to understand any differences...

Novus fan here. #3 is for deep scratches, #2 is for light scratches and #1 is for polishing. I've always done it by hand because I worried that a polisher/buffer could catch the top and ruin it. My local parts stores all carry it or, of course, there's Amazon... I also used it on my Harley's...
The 2 stage unit is a more simple unit, and not prone to as many problems. The multi functional and more money unit has, and must have more sensing units, which are bound to fail if they are of inferior quality. One service trip to replace one sensor, cost the servicing company $800. They made 8...
Can you remove this light socket from the 70 RoadRunner reverse lights? I have a nice set but the bulb housing wires were cut. Just wondering if it comes apart and who might make repro wiring for them.
This isn’t my housings. Just a picture from the web
Depending on what transmission you're using. Newer transmissions don't have any provisions for the cables. Something could be made up with the leaver transmissions if that's what you have.
If you're converting a pushbutton shifter to a console shifter, you'll need the correct cables. $200 for...
