You will probably be happier if you start with a new cable. But what I have done is take the cable out of the car and work a lubricant into the cable.

broke down the motor today to a shortblock....Hemi Wedge ! 10995.00 Best of everything. below what it would cost if u do the mopar/callies route. low (200ish) miles just broken in look at the crosshatch from the hone.. Only high zinc lucas hot rod oil ran in the motor....

Does anyone know where these washers go on the tail panel of a 68 charger? I think they’re for the trim but not sure. Are they reproduced? Thanks

I’ve been driving the 383 in this since 2004. It’s been my daily everyday since 2014. All I’ve ever put in the tank is 93 unleaded. The engine’s never been apart, and doesn’t burn much of the Mobile 10w-40 I put in it.

The wires are a bit frayed. Gonna try and track down a new motor for it

My 93 was originally a 3.9 it would get around 23 mpg on the highway. I put a totally rebuilt 5.2 in it at 157,000. I think it's around 210,000 now.

Unfortunately, I do not know for certain. It was rebuilt with aluminum ProMax heads before I bought it. Can I assume that since they are aluminum heads that they would have hardened valve seats? They would have steel inserts, and no one would put in non-hardened inserts, would they? Vance

2+ sets of accel burn proof plug wires, a combination of 90 degree and 45....the set shown measured just came off my max wedge motor...the rest r spares. 150.00+ from summit for each set... 195.00 shipped to the lower 48 ONLY.
