    8 year old new tires.

I think you might possibly have problem with the front tires rubbing on the frame when turning. The would certainly rub on our car.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

+1 on Hughes! Great cams. Call them and ask what they recommend. Good heads will require less cam to meet your HP goals.

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

I never had anyone complain about what I charged for an automatic transmission rebuild. Many gearheads will happily tear into an engine rebuild, but will not attempt the voodoo of a slushbox. LOL

A Chrysler 6pack cam is a Magnum or HP cam. But there is a MR Sixpack cam as well.

Voodoo Rising - A Build Thread

I had a lot of fun driving it around with no hood on for a week, but it was time to get the engine bay covered up. We were super lucky and had no rain but being Florida, I did not want to count on that lasting forever. The hood on the car was in pretty rough shape with a really notable rust...

Don't miss it. Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.

At the end of the day, no cars are everyone’s cup of tea. And what is someone’s cup of tea doesn’t mean it’s my cup of tea, etc. And therein lies the challenge of running the premier muscle car show in the world. Put a similar lineup of Shelbies, wing cars, hemis, COPO Chevies and the like in...

Man, be careful getting back on the roads after drifting off the pavement

Overcorrecting. Very careful to not drift off in the first place. If possible.

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

Nothing. As an old motorcycle rider, I do not know much. The younger less experienced guys know everything.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I just watched an Engine Masters episode last night on the motorhome 440 they put a turbocharger on. It was a stock low compression 440 and they ran that Comp 268H cam. They ran it naturally aspirated with stock heads and again with Trick Flow 240's. You should see if you can watch it and it...

    Sheet Metal Divider, How to?

Be sure to consider once you get the metal cut, will it fit through the rollbar to the seat area. I have to address this myself. I have sheetmetal sandwiched between the seat (still installed) and cross supports, but it’s not sealed, and the package tray is wide open. This racecar thing sure...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

Yeah, I prefer a 106-108 for my engines, but mine aren't intended to be mild street engines. I have a solid roller on a 104 that I REALLY wanted to use, but it hit the rods I was using, so it's still sitting on the shelf.....waiting.

Man, be careful getting back on the roads after drifting off the pavement

Years ago, I was a member of our community's Volunteer FireFighters Brigade. A piece of highway in our response area had been recently reconstructed with a sweeping "S" curve. Within a two year period, we attended 3 fatal accidents on the first curve. Being called to one of these incidents is...
