Anyone else seen this particular wire clip on any other car?
This pic is from the former Tony D #6200 mile car
It appears to be the same clip as the headlight wiring clip on the radiator support
Only this one is plastic / rubber coated
And am quite sure it would be well into 7 figures to get that deal done
Owner has spent the better part of the past 20 plus years putting this collection together
One of them IS for sale though
1968 Coronet RT droptop
hemi , console auto . EE1 blue with dark blue interior
In case anyone has...
I know current owner well
The only way I can see this car ever being avail is a buyer would have to buy them all
And we are talking 12 - 13 real hemi B body convertibles . All one hit , One time deal.
But its an instant collection of Hemi B body drop tops , One each from 1966 thru 1970
Overall a 1969 GTX is still my number one
BUT, I like the roofline and interior of my '66 A LOT better
Plus Black with red interior is the number one color combo for me. Above any / all others, And is the primary reason I own the car I do
Ive had the same user ID for 30 plus years on various forum boards
It started back when I owned several 1969 GTXs and a 1970 Challenger
Ive been around a while so 99% of the people know me by it . See no real reason to change it now
Does your motor have the same off white plastic switch plate ?
If so, Yes
If yours has a metal switch plate. like so
AFAIK, They are not interchangeable
When I bought my car in 2020 these tires were just over 20 years old. It had less than 900 miles put on them in that time frame
Always stored indoors , on the car
They still looked like new tires. No checking or splits of any kind anywhere on the tire
It drove fine . But I was taking a 6-7 hr...
I just created a google page with photos I took
I couldn't stick to just Mopars. As there were some AMAZING cars on the floor from all makes.
This was my first trip to this show, But will not be my last
MCACN 2025 · Nov 21 – 22
The car was still in primer the middle of Sept.
Troy had near the entire team working on this car since that time. In order to make it happen in time for this debut.
Pictures DO NOT do it justice
Owner swears he will put some road miles on it.
Maybe next summer
There a total of 3 1968 Coronet RT convertibles at the even
this Burgandy /blk int 4spd car
A dark blue / blue int auto car
And a black / blk interior auto car
A friend of mines 1968 RT is QQ1 and his painter put A LOT of effort in getting the color right to match the areas he had to match it to ( windshield frame , floorpans etc etc )
If done correctly
Q1 is in between B5 and B7
I plan to do this over this winter.
Remove driver's seat
remove steering column
remove instrument cluster
I think I can do it in a day , two tops
I have no intentions to remove glass or dash frame itself . Console is a maybe, just depends on how contorted i need to get my body.
work from the...
