I just got home after working three 12 hour days there and 9.5 hours today. This year the show could have been called Mopar Cars And Corvette Nationals. Seemed like about half the show was Mopars!
The show floor was overloaded with 636 cars. It’ll be under 600 next year as it was packed with fine metal!

It did seem like there was alot with some of the youtube videos I seen, I loved seeing the HEMI convertible display and especially the spring Fever display

There was ALOT of cars it seemed, and I did hear that the car count was 600 plus from what Tom at Rocket Restos said too. Why will it be less than 600 next year?

Another great show. I'll post up some more pics maybe tomorrow. It would be easiest from my phone, but now I'm getting bitten by the sideways bug. So I might have to get them on my computer before I can get them right side up.

I think the BO29 Barracuda barn find was my favorite.
Darrell Alderman's 1991 Pro Stock was another great one to see. No sign of the NOS, though.

And of course, Landy's Dodge. Really, there were much more than those that can be mentioned, as well! As XS22J8R, said, it could have been the Mopar and Corvette Nationals. I met FMJ and JPrusinows and their fine machines. Great guys to visit with!

Numbers got a bit beyond capacity for the hall basically.
My assignment during the show Saturday and Sunday was to keep an eye on the stage area including reconfiguring the stage for the different seminars and such.
Which is nice because I got to hear the seminars, be beside the stage for the very good AC/DC tribute band Saturday evening, and finally, listen to Bob Ashton’s speech’s during awards this afternoon.
He’s been doing car show organizing for his career including ones like world of wheels and more. He said the rule of thumb in planning car count is approximately 10% of registered cars cancel at the last minute, or are no shows.
We had 5 cars cancel this year and 6 the last. So that means the standard rule of thumb he’s used for planning doesn’t work for MCACN! People whose cars get accepted there tend to show up! So he’ll need to plan future shows for a much lower no show rate.

This is not fmj’s car, he has the Black ‘65 Dodge in post #125. That’s me and him with our backs to the camera in the first pic.

This Belvedere was amazing though, basically flawless.

I just created a google page with photos I took

I couldn't stick to just Mopars. As there were some AMAZING cars on the floor from all makes.

This was my first trip to this show, But will not be my last
