Well this weekend is my first time changing a rear main seal ever. Engine still in the car. Seen some videos but they cover Ford and Chevy. I know to install the side with the lip towards the front of the engine and to have each half a bit off center. I just am not sure about the side seal...

Great car and great thread! Have you tried changing your oil pressure sending unit. If this is leaking it looks a lot like the rear main seal. Changing the oil pressure sending unit helped a lot on my 360 Cordoba.

Good luck changing it with the motor in the car. Been there done that! Consider the new style rear seal and holder that's out there but don't deviate from the instructions or you'll be doing it twice or maybe three times.
