    Tach no workee.

    I recently had to replace my never used new Autometer Ultralite tachometer. Just started the car-no tach? What am I missing? I checked all continuities, The fuel pump speed control, tach, and Fast 2.0 all are tied to the MSD tach output. Only the tach does not work. Any guidance fellas. Mike

    Oh ya, they took out the acid (probably replaced it with water). That's why it takes 24 instead of 1/2 hours to soak! I rinse them in my solvent tank and brush the pieces as I rinse. Mike

    You may be able to unhook the return hose at the pump and direct the flow into a waste oil container and plug the tube on the pump. Start the motor and add new fluid while a second person rotates the steering wheel back and forth. Mike

    Plymouth Valliant 64 carburator problem

    Try your local auto parts store. They will need the number from the tag/screw holding the top on. It's a very simple carburetor and you can disassemble and clean (spray carb cleaner) it yourself. Blow out all the passages with compressed air and follow the carb kit instructions carefully. Mike
