I have A 69 Super Bee (A-12) 440 with ralley gauges. the Oil pressure gauge only moves to about 0 or 10 psi and thats it. I installed a mechanical secondary guage and it reads about 30 psi. If the gauge was bad I wouldn't think it would move at all. I also tried 3 different sending units and all...
I have two threads I want to combine them for some advise. long story short, I lost oil pressure in my 440 A-12 and come to find out I have a bronze scrocket on my intermediate oil shaft and it did break apart. I will confirm but I believe I have a standard cast iron flat tappit cam. I do not...
It’s not been a good weekend, after running at high RPM I lost oil pressure completely. Pulled the oil pan to find a lot of non magnetic particles. Pulled the distributor to find the oil shaft gear chewed up, is appears to be brass. I can’t even find a non steel intermediate oil shaft makes no...
I had the oil pan off replacing the rear seal and noticed this plate with chips in it. I believe this is the chain oiler is that correct? and why would it be getting damaged is it installed correct?
I'm looking for a OEM style reservoir cap and hold down, anyone have one they want to sale or know where I can purchase one?

Convert side reflectors to side marker lights.
I have a 69 SB with reflector side markers.
Do they make a kit that will convert the reflectors into side marker lights?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Will a 4 speed pistol grip shifter fit in a 69 Super Bee (no console)? My wife is looking for me a birthday present and I sent her a link on one at Summit Racing they told her they don't carry them for the 69. Can anyone confirm it will fit and maybe a link to one? I'm trying to let her order it...
Tic-toc-tach wiring, on my 69 Super Bee
I am trying to get my clock working but doesn't appear to have a constant 12 volts to the gauge. I have two wires plugged into the back one spade and one post connector. It requires both to operate the tach. Can someone post a pic of the rear of the...
:hello2:I'm Back!!!! I had a 68 GTX up to about 6 months ago, I sold it a week after it was listed. I missed not having a Mopar so starting looking again. I have had a RR and GTX so what's next the only thing that made since....a Super Bee.
I've had many classics through out the years but this...
I need to free up some cash so I am listing my 68 GTX for sell sooner than I wanted. This GTX is a great driving mopar and is rust free. I had to work through a lot of issues when I purchased it. I have spent a lot of time making sure everything is as it should be and works perfect. The engine...
I have a 68 GTX 440
I'm on my third alternator and second time I have had to rewire the alternator amp gauge circuit. The first time I wired it I used the fusible link, lot of good that did, burnt the insulation but the wire stayed in tack.
The electric fans pull 38 to 45 amps and the alt...
I want to install a sway bar on my 68, it didn't come with one. I have been sorting through a lot of issues with the car so I just want to make sure I have a 68 K Member and the right spindle (not sure that's the right term). I hope you can tell from the pictures if this is the correct year and...
Hood Alignment
My hood has about a 1/2" bow in it. Its hard to tell from the pictures but there is a rise in the edge of the hood about 1/4 of the way back from the front. I hope this makes since.
Anyone now how to straighten it out without messing up the paint?
Thanks,
Tim
I thought some might get a kick out of what I am working through since I bought my completely restored 68 GTX. At least that's how it was advertised. I am in the Dallas, TX area and purchased this from a guy outside of Boise ID. He restores Mopars for a living and according to him has sold...
My GTX came with no Spare tire or jack. I just purchased a jack and I'm not sure I have all the brackets required. Can someone post a picture of the mounting of the jack in the trunk, without the spare tire.
thanks,
Tim
I need to replace my amp gauge, can it be done without removing the gauge cluster?
I searched for a thread on cluster removal for a 68 GTX but had no luck.
Could someone give my a link or directions on removing the cluster.
Thanks,
Tim
Hi, I wanted to introduce myself, I had a 69 RR back in High school and always regret selling it. Here lately I have been spending a lot time surfing the web looking at Mopars. I was looking for another Road Runner when I started researching the GTX. The more I learned the more the GTX drew my...
