Member T2R9 had a leftover rear seat for a 71-4 Charger, which he has donated to my 71. A few years ago my best friend said "The next best thing to having nice toys is having friends with nice toys." This just got topped by having nice friends with free toys.
Have some leftover small block bell housings, 318-340-360. Local pick-up only (central Va.) or can deliver to Carlisle on Friday, 11 July ONLY. $150 each. Thaks for the ad FBBO.
It had been down for maintenance earlier this morning, got in a few minutes ago but tried completing order and got error message. Anyone else having trouble?
Anyone interested in swapping a set of 71 Charger Hide away headlight doors/grills for a set of 72's? Only need the two headlight doors and the 2 grill pieces. Found out they are different. PM here.
Thanks FBBO.
Just picked up a Durango for the wife. It has the "Eco feature" where the engine cuts off at stoplights like the Fords had. There is a button to disable this, but you have to push the button every time you start the vehicle. Anyone know if this can be permanently disabled via control or via...
Seeing the question on neutral safety switches made me think (a bad habit for me). Anyone doing restorations on the relay that operates the headlight doors on 70/71 Chargers?
Not being a fan of the can of fix-a-flat spare in the newer cars, looking at putting a full size spare in one. Question is, would putting a spare complete with a TPS sensor in the spare screw up the vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system?
If so am I correct in assuming a spare without a TPS...
Greetins' all,
Looking for a wheel so I can have a 'real" spare in the Challenger. This wheel carries a 245/45ZR20 tire, factory wheel for a 21 Scat Pack with the 392. The closer to Central Va, the better.
Thanks FBBO
Long time Mopar buddy stopped by today, just got a 1966 Plymouth Valiant that needs a floorpan. Don't see one specific to that car readily available. Anyone know if one from a 65 Valiant or 67 Valiant/Barracuda will work? I thought the 67 might work, but may need to be shortened a bit.
thanks...
1941 Dodge sedan with parts car for sale in central Va. 41 still has original drive train in it, and is a "roller." Would need a lot of lower body (rocker panel) rust repair and floorboards. Have rechromed bumpers, hood ornament, grille emblem, center windshield trim, and hood center trim that...
With the new(er) ceramic waxes, what is everyone using on cars that have the factory vinyl stripes? Are you applying the ceramic wax over the stripes or having to be careful to keep the wax off of the stripes to preserve the "matte finish" of the stripes? Curious to know because having smaller...
Gents,
Have teenager beginning to drive, looking at a ride for him to put less strain on transport duties. Was looking at a V-6 Charger due to ease of access to work on it, but insurance guy barely suppressed a laugh on that one, seems those and Impalas are on the insurance "hot sheet." Wifey...
Just trying to figure out what this was. It's a 71 Charger with the SE medallions on the roof sail panels, has the vent on the lower driver's side of the dash, but also has the fresh air vent on the left as if it were a non-A/C car, vent cables to left fresh air box and to the heater box are...
Anyone here have a source for the switch controlling the blower motor speed for a nln A/C/ car? Or know who might rebuild said switch?
Thanks in advance.
Had to get a tire for Wife's Journey. Not trusting folks with impact guns, just pulled the tire and had it replaced at the store. Bolted it back up and no signal/value from Tire Pressure Sensor on that wheel. Long story short had to have 'puter "relearn" to restore signal from TPS. Is this...
