I have my 727 transmission out of my 69 roadrunner and figured I probably should replace the mount, does anyone make a good quality one? Engine has one Moroso solid on drivers side and rubber on passenger side. Was looking at the one pictured anybody run this one or know the height of it?
I have a 4778 (700dp) on my roadrunner now, 440 10:1, 232-239 @ .05 518 lift on a 112 cam, tf 240’s,3.73 gear and 9 1/2” dynamic converter. Carb runs perfect no stumbling instant throttle response. Was thinking about getting a 850 annular. Car is a street crusier maybe run it down 1/4 a couple...
Just ordered a airgrabber base (69 440) it’s going on a 440 with a holley dp carb. These 2 tabs in the carb mount base I have circled don’t allow it to sit flush on carb do you bend them up? Looks like they are meant to line it up straight but not not on a Holley?
I noticed the boosters on the secondary side are a little loose on my 700 Holley. You can wiggle them side to side. What problems can this cause I have been chasing a very slight idle surge 50-100 rpm, and was checking things out it seems to run great otherwise. Thanks
I have a 69 roadrunner, tf240 heads, rpm manifold and Holley carb. I am wanting to buy a 69 airgrabber air cleaner was wondering which base to get (440 or 383) does anyone know if the lid will fit up in the scoop the hood is an original one. If it will a am going with the taller low deck one.
I bought the blue Moroso trans pan gasket and just seen where it says to not use with stamped pan. I have a 69 727 with a old direct connection deep chrome stamped pan metal is pretty thick should I get a different gasket or use this one?
New 440, penn 30wt break-in oil sft cam. Did cam break-in, rechecked valve lash. Changed oil filter added another quart. How long should I run this before switching to non break-in oil?
Was wondering if a 215/70/15 cooper cobra would work on a 5” wheel? The specs say 5.5-7” but I have 5” weld wheel on front of my 69 roadrunner and would like to use it if possible.
So I get my 440 short block build back from machine shop, and find this was wanting.010-.015 below deck looks like crank was ground different on #5 and 7, which I have a positive deck height. Should I be worried about this?
So I am building a 440 it’s going to be stock stroke .030 over with exhaust manifolds rpm intake manifold , car is a 69 roadrunner 3.73 gear auto this is the sft cam I was recommended what do you guys think and what compression ratio should a do ( stealth heads with checked and valve job...
