Im gonna keep diging deeper (wet sand, compound and buff) if i dig too deep ill have no choice but to paint it ;) either way the spots will get out at some point :) Got another brand compound to try.. maybe the ultimate by mguires just isnt agressive enough.

By the way these are Magnums, just not the chrome 500s. They were gloss black to begin with, I thought about going with the argent silver but wanted a different look. I have the beauty rings still but got tired of them... 2 of mine have some rash from previous owner. I could just replace them...

Sorry forgot to explain pic.. ya gotta look at edge where trees reflect to see the spots remain.

Look at your wheel cylinders.. check the seals to see if they are cocked out a little.

I tried your method.. what does the mineral spirits do? It didnt help me :( Maybe mineral spirts after compound?

It is a repaint done before I had the car. Shitty paint job too. The wetsanding has helped to remove a lot of the orange peel but these darn spots are getting the best of me. Trunk lid also has them. I dont know what got on the car but it showed up shortly after the first time I tried to wax...

Thats a 57' Dodge Royal On top of a 199X Dodge Dakota Power Train and all. He belongs to the Smoky Mountain Mopars Group. I loved that Car except for the extra Dakota Logos on the back. I wish I would have taken a picture of his Plaque which detailed the build.
