    Need Some Advise on Buying

Good stuff guys! I'm going to take the advise and run. What really sucks is that the seller is a pretty cool guy to talk too over the phone. I contacted him because he had an ad on CL for a 68' Roadrunner (running for $7,500), which turned out to be a Satellite... then he told me about the car I...

    Need Some Advise on Buying

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 69' Roadrunner. It's a numbers matching 4-speed 383, but the down side is the seller does not have a title for the vehicle. The car is from Oklahoma and has not been registered in 28 years. The seller wants $6,500... I'm a little hesitant, any advise is...

    Lowering steering colum

I'm taking the dash board out of an 1969 Roadrunner. The shifter is on the center colum, but I need to drop/lower the steering colum, in order to get the dash out. Any pictures or full detail, would help greatly... I've already removed the front wind shield too.

Stolen Mustang "Houston" Needs Help Finding

Update: The 42 foot trailer was found in Houston, completely empty, behind HEB, off Beltway 8 and Blackhawk. Atleast it was found and probably means, it's not outside of Houston.

Stolen Mustang "Houston" Needs Help Finding

Well, it'll be very hard to sell the parts and not get noticed. Everything was custom built and not your average performance parts. I'm sure once the 42ft. (box) gooseneck trailer turns up, the investigators will have more to go on. It's still a shame though... Texas will allow us to shot...

Stolen Mustang "Houston" Needs Help Finding

Here's some more details on it: The car was inside a 42' (42 ft. long!!) gooseneck box trailer "white", there was a four wheeler inside, all their equipment, and numerous performance parts. The owner hired a private investigator, and DPS has serveilance from their traffic cameras, of a white...

    Hello from Texas!!

LoL!! Tell me about it :rolling: The old man had his old friend "Chevy man" rebuild the engine. Although, the engine is painted a horrid blue... it runs like a champ. The motor will be coming out, sometime in the near future for a make-over.... I'll have to sneak in and spray it a different...

    Hello from Texas!!

Well you have to take into consideration, this car is owned by an ''old schooler''.... He doesn't care if it's a cheap brand, as long as it functions, looks organized, and the car runs strong... that's all that matters. We aren't building for showroom quality... we are restoring it, to drive and...

    Hello from Texas!!

Your close to home buddy! As a matter of a fact, my fiancee's dad lives right there by Eagle Lake.... he's the one who owns the cars. I'm out there every weekend working. Maybe I'll see you at the Wallis "Fine Rides Auto Fest" this October. We'll have to hook up and go for a cruise one of these...

    69' Bird dash removal

I take it, me and you have something in common now :Groaner: ...poor knuckles will never be the same... talk about blood, sweat, and tears. Btw, I'm thinking about making a better glove compartment vs. the lousy paper contraption Mopar came up with. Has anyone fabricated one on this forum...

    69' Bird dash removal

Holy monkey!! I was hoping that the front window didn't have to be removed. I know once the dash is off, everything will be a cake walk. Oh well, if it has to be... then she's coming off! I'll post pictures of the progress, when we start. Hopefully, it'll help anyone else down the line who needs...

    69' Bird dash removal

I need advice on the best way, to remove the dash on a 1969 Roadrunner. I want to repaint some metal parts and change out the viynal gauge cluster pading. It's a bi*ch to take off... and I'm wondering if there is any easier way to get the bolts on the front part of the dash (by the fire wall) or...
