So I've been hauling the interior in and out of the car I don't know how many times to damper it and fit the new carpet and so on. Discovered today that the horn button has come off and I can't find the parts laying around anywhere... So frustrating.
Anyhow - can anyone direct me to what I...
Old gasket was leaking and neck looked like sh*t on my 1969 roadrunner. Switched to a brand new tank which I cut up for electric pump delivery. I'm happy with how the job came out, but don't want to put the old rubber and old neck on a new tank.
Impossible to find in Sweden so I figured I'd...
Sorry about bumping old threads but I just need to ask around. Saw your post from a year ago...
I ordered my booster kit on the 21st of January. No update on the tracking, still "awaiting package" on USPS page. Tried mailing them five times without any reply (I'm in Sweden and my company don't...
I ordered one, but it's threaded - and the FiTech doesn't seem to be threaded and the 1/2->1/4 thing I bought isn't threaded either. But the Mopar Throttle stud is?
Ordered both, but the Summit one isn't threaded? If it was threaded in the 1/4 hole it would make sense - you would put one of the discs on the backside of the throttle arm, and one on the font side - fastening them with the threaded Linkage Stud linked to above. Only that it isn't?
Are you...
So, I'm looking at upgrading my alternator after I've added some things to the car and today I realized I don't know anything about our alternators.
Current one has more than one wire coming from it, so I guess its not a one wire setup (I know, I'm not good at this...but trying to learn)...
Thanks. Since I'm a complete moron and have to spend like 50 bucks on shipping every time I order from summit - can someone dig out a part number that is 110% the right one?
I got SSBS on my road runner - but I can only advise you to get it all as a kit. The ones on my car is built by previous owner and he put it together from what he had at his shop. Not recommended. I also like the Wilwood parking brake setup better than the SSBS ones.
Problem is that the booster is a bit dodgy with poor fitment, so I figured I'd might as well get it as a package. Would 9" fit or should I go for the 8" ?
Alright, let me see here if I can answer all questions. Brake install was by previous owner, hence I'm looking at replacing the booster+main cylinder to know that everything is correct.
Yes, it has quite some overlap and long duration camshaft, it only measures about 5 lbs vacuum, why I...
But would it really be soft brakes if vacuum isn't enough? Brakes feels spongy and not distinct at all when they do work, and then all of a sudden just nothing.
When you say hook it to the engine, and then to the pump - can you describe that a little closer how you mean?
That and then some more sanding. And swearing. And taping your fingers. And more sanding. And sanding.
Started with like 200 grit and finished it with 2000 wet paper. Get a small sanding tool for the ridges and dips around the runners. They're a pita.
Sorry for therad-rape but here's another...
