NAG 1 Controller- does it really work?

So with my project I am going with the Mopar plug and play efi for the 392 engine because I got a great deal on it. I recently started looking at NAG1 controllers and have read some mixed reviews. Is the PCS Nag 1 controller plug and play or is there a lot of screwing around with software...

What is the easiest efi setup for a carb dummy?

I am looking for an easy efi conversion. So far I have seen the MS3 hemi box and the holley hp efi. Should I consider anything else. Self tuning is important as I have NO idea how to tune efi. Thanks!

Would I be further ahead to start over?

LX Modguy- Thanks for the reply. If you have a second, listen to this: I was surfing the net yesterday, and found a new 6.1 block, 6.1 heads, and associated parts about 60 miles from me. Jumped in the car and brought it home last night. Now I am sitting on a new 6.4 short block and a new...

Would I be further ahead to start over?

Hey Pat! Yeay, I guess there are a lot of differences. There is quite a bit of monkeying around needed, and if the 6.1 will handle the abuse, might as well go with it. Anyone want to buy a new 6.4 short block? LOL The school will probably sell this one if we can find a better alternative.

GET RID OF THE OSPHO FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Re-treat the areas with ospho, while they are wet rinse with water to completely remove. Would I be further ahead to start over?

I am piecing together a 6.4 hemi to put into a 68 charger. I would like to build kind of a rowdy engine, big cam and so on. With the 6.4 I keep running into problems like the lack of cams, pistons, etc. Would I be further ahead to find a 6.1 block? At least with them I can run a msd6 if I...

6.4 hemi- how hard will it be to use a factory computer and harness?

I am putting a 6.4 hemi in a 68 charger. I can buy a good harness and computer for a 6.4 for $ 300. Is this too much to pay? Also, will there ba a big issue with the factory stuff or will it be better to go with an aftermarket computer and harness? Thanks!

Any opinions or suggestions for inside frame rail coatings?

Propwash, I agree. Another option would be fluid film with the same type of 360* wand. Yet another option is Raptor bedliner sprayed with a wand. One thing to remember is that our cars will most likely not see the winters and rain like they did when they were new. Anything will be better than...

polyurethane clear coat over strip kit??

I personally would not apply clear over the Stripe. You may have no problems but in theory it could delaminate later and ruin the back half of the car. Also check with your stripe manufacturer. Some say you can clear over them and some say not to. Also, if for whatever reason you decide to...

What to Use for Guide Coat

I also use the 3M Guide Coat. Although rattle can paint will work, I have never liked the idea that some may be left over on the surface. Could lead to paint problems down the road. For the money get the 3M and use it. It can sit for years and not go bad as well.

    Is this filler good stuff

All metal is a very good product. It uses a liquid activator which sometimes makes it difficult to determine if it is mixed correctly. Also, beware of all metal that has been sitting on a shelf for a while, as it becomes very difficult to work with.
