So far the loctite has worked great! No more issues. As far as the squeaking thing goes, I ran into that as well. I used a standard Grant install kit and found a few 1/8" washers taped to the back of the cover over the holes to the adapter spaced it out enough to alleviate any more issues...
Gorilla glue to the rescue! Same thing happened to Stella, same carb, same engine, same nipple! Cut it out of the hose, get a NEW hose, glue the nipple back on, get down the road
The first F&F proved to be the most knowledge dropping in the series IMO.

I used a pair of Goodmark "Vintage" style refillable blades, they work great as wipers did in 1973 lol and they allow for the concealed wiper function to work on Stella.
