    63 Dodge running cold

63 Polara 318... I've typically had the opposite problem on classics I've owned, but my Polara runs cold. The temp gauge doesnt go past 1/4 during the winter (if that), and I can confirm the engine is cool enough to touch 10 minutes after a 10-15-mile drive. My first guess is a stuck open...

    '63 Polara

Sorry. Just saw this. I haven't done anything beyond basic maintenance and a valve adjustment, which improved performance and quited down the "sewing machine" quite a bit. Some paperwork I have suggests it was rebuilt in the mid 80s. Still running a 2-barrel carb... Good-looking Dodge by the way.

    '63 Polara

Before and after... I've been messing with this for almost five years, and I finally have it "done" enough to register and drive. I've had several questions over the years, and I really appreciate the content and help on this site. Thanks!

    318 poly heater hose routing

Quick question on a 318 poly's heater hose routing - Does the hose on the water pump go to the heater and the hose on the intake come from the heater? Thanks.

    Mechanical Temp Gauge

'63 Polara 318 poly 2-barrel - I purchased a mechanical temp gauge and discovered the probe did not fit the stock intake port for the original sending unit. I've seen some adapters and other creative solutions. Curious what others have done and what the easiest route might be. Thanks.

    318 poly plug wires

Can someone direct me to a set of plug wires that will fit a 318 poly? It's for a '63 Dodge, if that matters. I haven't had any luck at parts stores. I am inevitably handed wires for an LA 318 or who knows. Suppose I could go the custom route if needed, but it would be nice to get a direct fit...

    Series 62 Wheel Vintiques

Looking to get 14x6 Series 62 wheels for my 63 Polara. I read a thread here where dog dishes from this era don't fit, but I assume full 14-inch caps will work? Anyone else use these?

    63 Dodge B Body Wheels

Looking to buy stock(ish) wheels for my 63 Polara. There are some 14-inch 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern/3.5-inch backspace wheels for sale locally, but the seller doesn't know what vehicle they came off of. I know the rim size and bolt pattern are correct, but I don't know about the backspace. Also, the...

    63 Dodge outer headlight bezels

My outer headlight bezels on my 63 Dodge Polara are pretty beat up, but the prices I've seen for used or NOS are crazy expensive. As this is a foor-door sedan driver, I'm not willing throw that kind of money at it. Does anyone know a "close enough" or generic bezel that might work? Thanks.

Stock wheels for a 63 Polara

Cool. That's something to consider. Just curious if anyone runs aftermarket steelies like the ones above. My biggest concern is the hubcap fit.

Stock wheels for a 63 Polara

Looking for stock(ish) wheels for a 63 Polara that will accept stock 14 inch hubcaps. I found these on Summit. Anyone know if these will do the trick? Thanks...

WTB 1963 Polara trim piece and emblem

Thanks for the reply. It shows your inbox is full, so I couldn't start a conversation. What kind of shape is the emblem in? How much are you looking for?

WTB 1963 Polara trim piece and emblem

Looking for the trim piece that goes along the top driver's side front fender and the Polara emblem that is affixed to the c-pillar (passenger's side only). See attached photos. Thanks!

1965 Coronet With fender tag but no VIN, options?

Not sure what state you're in, but many states (including the one I work for) will simply assign a generic VIN to a public location if no other identifiers are on the vehicle. Again, you may be required to assume responsibly and defend your ownership if it came to it (through a conditional title).

1965 Coronet With fender tag but no VIN, options?

Maybe I can help, seeing as I work as a motor vehicle investigator and deal with this almost daily. The process may vary from state to state, but typically your DMV will run a 50-state search to see if there are any previous records under your VIN. If there is, you may be required to do...
