Ok, I am in need of some help here. I am working on a '69 Super Bee that was sent to me with no fuel lines. Question is, what determines if the car gets a vapor return line?
Engine size, A/C, California emissions???
Thanks,
Rob
Ok guys and girls. Here I have a factory 68-69 4bbl intake (casting # 2806301). Here is my issue, while dry fitting a Carter AVS to this intake, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be enough clearance for the factory choke stove. The (choke side) of the Carter appears to sit and cover the...
I would grab it. There are only so many left out there. The trans is worth that as a core. Even if the engine is junk you can still probably salvage the intake, oil pan, some brackets etc.
Hi, is the bottom catch a piece of stamped wire or is it a catch like davek posted? Check spring tension if its the catch. Also davek is correct, you can adjust it or shim if necessary.
Ok, so who has any experience with disc brake conversion kits currently on the market? I see a bunch available, but are any of them good fit/quality? The Right Stuff has a kit, but it says it will only fit 15" wheels. Am I better off finding a different kit and keeping stock 14's ? There are...
Does anyone out there happen to have an extra set of 4 washers that go on the front suspension struts ? Need these for a 69 Super Bee. Let me know what you have/price. Thanks! Rob
I currently am working on. ‘69 Bee with factory a/c. Yes it has factory undercoat. I believe from what I was told it was a Florida car. Again coincidence ?
Ok so does anyone know what the factory used for undercoating in 1968-69 ? More importantly, is there any product available today that looks close? I saw an episode of Graveyard Carz where they sprayed a B body, but of course they never said what the actual product was. Thanks! Rob
I'm sure someone out there can help. I have the front suspension/K frame out of a '69 Bee and am in the process of cleaning everything up. What are the correct factory colors for the K frame, control arms, torsion bars, steering linkage etc. ? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Rob
Thanks for the detailed pics ! Yes my concern was the fit/quality of the bushings in the control arm, and also the quality of the ball joint. The steel stamped factory arms I am working with are in pretty good shape. I think I will just clean them up, re-spray them and install good quality...
Has anyone used a factory style repro upper control arm? Is the quality any good? Rebuilding front suspension on a '69 Bee, and wondering if I should replace upper arms with new, or put new bushings and ball joints in the factory arms. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
The 69 full quarter is the same panel with the exception of the rectangle marker light hole. The hole can easily be filled in with a piece of metal, welded shut, and then a round hole cut with a hole saw for the 68 marker light. The 69 panels are still available through AMD.
I don't personally need these, but glad to see someone listing a set at a more than fair price. I got mine here on FBBO as well after looking at the ridiculous prices on ebay and car shows for over a year. Here's to trying to help out fellow Mopar folks with their projects !
Ok guys and girls, just checking to see if there is anything out there. Need a set of front buckets with tracks for a '68 B body. Headrests not necessary. I know these aren't cheap, but hopefully someone has something a bit more reasonable than what is on ebay. Thanks, Rob.
