I have a 69 Roadrunner. The voltage regulator on the firewall has two wires hanging off one side; one is blue and the other is blue with a white stripe. Are these two wires supposed to be hot even when the ignition is turned off?
I'm trying to reinstall the switch panel on my 69 Roadrunner. The dash pad is so tight; I've spent several hours on it with no luck. Anyone have any tips?
I've got a new Fast MSD box and coil. The wiring is pretty self explaining except one small red wire. Instructions call for it to he wired in to a wire that is hot when the key is on and also hot when trying to start the engine. Which wire would be a good one for that?
I'm having trouble getting the exhaust manifold bolts on the driver's side to stop leaking radiator fluid. The last time I used new bolts, tighten, warmed the motor up and retightened. 3 of them look rusty. I thought about using some plummer's tape but thought against it. Does anyone know it...

First, I would like to wish everyone a Happy 4th.
1. The 440 that I recently purchased in my 69 Roadrunner had numerous previous owners. I found a mechanic that had did some work on it a couple of years ago. He said that he ran a scope down the spark plug hole and could read the top of the...
Working on a project car. Body and drivetrain are o.k. Pulled the Dash out because nothing worked. Positive to the Alt. gauge was hot; now its not. Turn signals worked; now they don't. Bench tested the gauges, found out the board is bad; I could only get the oil light to come on. I've got...
Thanks for accepting me. This is going to sound boring but I'm 69 years old and live in North Central Iowa. Married with 3 kids and 2 grandkids. 11 years military and 37 years in law enforcement (retired). In April, I purchased a 69 Roadrunner. I've always wanted a b-body 68- 70. It has a...
