We have a new glove box liner to install. It has a door for fuse access but also has a flap the I don’t understand where it goes, behind the fuses or in front? Any suggestions on how to get it in correctly?
Replaced the fuel filter on a 440. The old one, you could not see the fuel, it was a metal canister. The new one is plastic, you can see the fuel in it. At times, the filter doesn't seem to have a lot of fuel in it. How much fuel should show in the filter? Does it vary or should it stay half full?
Looking at your clean photos, it must be under that flap. The flap looks to be connected with a push in connector. I think I need to work on removing the flap, but not the shield.
Thank you, I looked at the splash shield today, there is a lot of road grime/undercoating down there. I'll take a look for the brake bolts in your photo, thanks again!
That looks to be the Mancini 440, Extra tall bracket. What throttle cable should we use on this 1970 Roadrunner, 440, RPM Performer and Quick Fuel 750?
I got all the lights working, hood turn signals, reverse lights, dome light and map light. The dome light was a 90 bulb, not a 2112. The map light bulb works but the switch has missing parts. I was able to snap the small PCB into the light bulb housing, but I'm missing the plastic switch maybe...
Installed the new switch into the transmission and got the backup lights working. And the dashboard reverse light works, it needed to be fixed as it was silicone to the dash. I was able to unscrew it from the back, got the front lens to snap on the metal bracket and remounted it.
I was looking at the throttle linkage on this 440, I thought the metal sleeve on the cable should be under the hold down bracket. Does this look correct?
