so after further investigating i put a 904 yoke i got in the trans, all way in bottomed out, pulled out to 1" then measured my center to center for new drive shaft length and came at 57". thats with 1" shiny showing...

I have a shop that can lengthen the shaft yes no problem. To me I need 1.5” longer looks like. But trying to figure out my yoke situation compounded to this problem
67 coronet new 904 trans and already tail bushing wore out. Drive shaft too short measures 55.5” cl to cl joints. U can see in pics how far it stuck out of trans about 3”.
