Right. That is kinda what I am concerned about. I am trying to get this motor running on the stand so I can get it set up in the car, then planning to rebuild it. I may try making a bracket first to mount on the head. I'll post pics, IF it works. LOL

Got this for my 383. First time dealing with pointless ignition. I don't see a rotor under the cap or in the box with the other stuff. Do these things not use a rotor?

OK. I do have a can of Permatex High Tack Gasket Sealant (80062). Just didn't know if different parts required different stuff. Been decades since I have done a motor and there are way more products and process these days. Looks like this stuff will work for all of it. Thanks Guys.

OK, I got the bolts that came with the headers but was going to try to avoid pulling the studs from the heads and just get some bolts. It is the size of the bolts I am looking for. So far, looks like they may be 3/8 course or fine.
