Too many to list or favour :headbang:
Thanks for your reply . Sorry about the neophyte manner of my inquiry .
Originally disc brake equipped , late '72 build ( July '72 ) Coronet.
I added the '73 & up "slider" pins to the original '72 spring-type calipres in hopes of eliminating the necessity for the springs , but am not happy...
It's 'potentially stupid question' time :hello2: !
To the point : will '73 & later brake calipres work on '71-'72 B Body knuckles ?
I'm asking simply because those irritating calipre springs ( "V"-shaped clips which pop the calipre back into its resting spot when the brakes are released )...
Interesting that an export (Y09) would have clear lenses with ambre bulbs (an assumption on my part here ... ).
Never-the-less ...
Look for a "70W" ( for '70 Dodge Coronet ) on the lenses , at least for U.S. -- and probably Canada -- models .
I had to buy a replacement lens for my 1972...
A big "Thank You!" to YY1 and Randy73 for their input / assistance in the replacing the front shocks on my '72 Coronet .
Now , I've got a '71 Charger which needs its rear shocks replaced , and am wondering about tricks / tips on their replacement ( bitchy bolts , accessibility , etc. , etc. )...
Let me further explain what I mean by "esoteric" ...
The 1972 440 Six Pack / Six Barrel is esoteric in its own capacity ; by definition of "esoteric" ( something understood by very few and-or within a limited group ) ; it's a one-year-only motor ; it was the last high-compression ...
I *believe* that spoilers on 1972 model year B's are late '71 builds ( e.g. , first 3 months of production , give or take ). Same goes for fresh air hoods ( though I've personally seen a largely-original '72 Road Runner with the base 400 and factory-installed Air Grabber , which had a March '72...
I'm about to replace all four shocks on my '72 Charger , and am wondering if there's any tricks about it . I've never replaced shocks before , so this is new to me ; what's the ideal way to go-about it ?
I'll be working on this myself , laying on my back and sides fighting with arthritis...
THIS would be one gorgeous Charger if restored "correctly" . GA4 is a beautiful colour , and the white vinyl top ( V4W = Halo Top ? I cannot remember
... ) and V7W ( pinstripes ? ) are a great contrast to the gunmetal finish .
It's definitely not every day that one sees a R35 ( AM/FM...
I'm looking for jets for a Carter BBD , pre-heavy emissions junk . Need a matched set of 2 .
Please reply positively to [email protected] with price plus shipping . Thanks .
a "400" in a 1971 Super Bee is not factory . It probably had the base 300 hp 383 originally , but someone replaced it with a 400 ( '72 - '78 motor ) .
Not knocking the 400 ; just letting you know that the 400 wasn't available in "B" Bodies until 1972 .

Shell is my number 1 choice . I burn 91 octane ( the "highest" readily-available octane available in good ol' Cali ) .
76 is my next choice , especially when I can find a station that sells 100 octane .
Chevron is okay , but not as good as it used to be .
ARCO ( et al. ) is 100% junk . I...
one really need look no further than the famous chase scene from Bullitt.
Bill Hickman ( driver of the Charger ; played his own role -- albeit silent -- as well ) was the king of "Drifting" ; and , he even taught his friend James Dean how to drift his "Little Bastard" Porsche .
