one really need look no further than the famous chase scene from Bullitt.

Bill Hickman ( driver of the Charger ; played his own role -- albeit silent -- as well ) was the king of "Drifting" ; and , he even taught his friend James Dean how to drift his "Little Bastard" Porsche .

Awesome video. def some skill invovlved is drifting a car like that but i know how to drift and that was kinda poor drifting. still good though for the type of car it is.

Was he trying to drift or just has a base case of over steer? A friend of mine has a son that took an El Camino and tore up the competition a few years ago.
