when installing sub frame connectors, is it best to put the car on jack stands or leave the weight of the car on the wheels? i read somewhere that they put their car on jack stands & welded in the frame connectors & their doors wouldn't shut after they was done. so, they had to cut them out & do...

are you talking about axles that are splined about half way, then you cut them down to the size needed? it looks like that would make the axle weak?

well, i've got the beast mini tubed & now i'm getting ready to move the rear springs with a spring relocating kit (ebay, $89.00 shipped) & i'm going to cut housing down 3.5" on each side. anyone have any advice on either? also, my buddy has a 489 housing with 4.10 gears on a Moser 35 spline...

It's a 65 Plymouth belvedere. This is the first mopar I've ever owned so I'm still learning. I was thinking my buddy who also has a 65 belvedere said they was pressed on. with any luck their not. Will the drum have nuts on it for a puller to attach to if it is a pressed "nutted" type deal...

shumacher creative services emailed me back today, they want $118 for the pair of plates only. i think i'll just build a solid mount setup some how. i'm thinking of trying the 66 up b body mounts & see what the difference is. i might be able to use the solid type mounts with just a little work.

yes, i went over there today going to do some dumpster diving, but they pick up trash everyday first thing in the morning. i've emailed shumacher creative services & haven't gotten a response back yet.
